Common Reasons to Schedule a Mold Inspection

  • Musty Odors: Persistent smells associated with damp or enclosed areas
  • Visible Growth: Dark or discolored areas appearing on affected surfaces
  • Recurring Moisture: Damp conditions that continue after previous water problems

A visual inspection was performed in the basement. Three air samples were taken one in the first level of the home, one in the basement and one outside for reference. The first level showed slightly elevated and acceptable levels. The basement showed slightly elevated in multiple categories and elevated in one identification. Recommended working with a remediation contractor on ways of reducing the count in the basement of the home to more acceptable levels.
