Professional Mold Testing Services in Chesterfield Homes
Mold can grow silently behind walls, basements, crawl spaces, or inside HVAC systems, which can damage and worsen your indoor environment. In ideal conditions, mold releases spores into the air to further its growth. That's why we use a multi-layered approach to mold detection and identify the source. Our mold testing process includes:
Air Sampling: Detects invisible airborne mold spores that affect breathing
Surface Swab Testing: Identifies mold types present on surfaces like walls, wood, or tile
Tape Lifts: Collects samples from visible growth for lab analysis
Detailed Reporting: Lab-certified results, with expert remediation guidance
Rely On Our Professionals, Not a DIY Approach
Relying on a DIY approach or visual checks can be misleading when it comes to mold. Many harmful strains grow behind walls, under floors, or in HVAC systems in hidden areas.
DIY kits often produce inaccurate or vague results that either spark unnecessary worry or overlook serious problems. Professional mold testing offers precise detection, certified lab analysis, and unbiased reporting. With expert interpretation, you’ll know exactly what you're dealing with and how to handle it safely at your property in Chesterfield.
Boost Your Indoor Air Quality With Our Testing Services
In more than half of the cases, indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air in today's world. Dealing with poor air quality can impact your health every day. Our crews provide thorough indoor air quality assessments to identify issues and recommend specific improvements. Our Indoor Air Quality Testing (IAQ) Services provide:
EZ Breathe Ventilation Fresh Air Without the Hassle
The EZ Breathe Ventilation System is a maintenance-free solution to keep air fresh and circulation, especially in the lower levels of your property like the basement or crawl space.
This powerful ventilation system improves airflow while reducing humidity, allergens, and radon gas. Here’s how it works:
Expels polluted, humid air from the lowest level directly outside
Replenishes with fresh, drier air from the upper levels of the home
Ventilates the entire house with 6–10 full air exchanges per day
Control Humidity with Powerful Dehumidification Systems
Excess moisture is one of the biggest contributors to mold growth and poor air quality. Whether it’s from seasonal humidity or structural issues, managing moisture is key to protecting your home. Our team installs advanced dehumidification systems from trusted brands like AprilAire. These units are quiet, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance, which is perfect for basements, crawl spaces, or entire homes. We’ll assess your home’s moisture levels and recommend the right system based on size, layout, and humidity levels.
Waterproof Your Basement or Crawl Space the Right Way
Moisture problems in the lowest parts of your home can create major issues over time. Our waterproofing specialists offer quick, professional basement waterproofing solutions to protect your home from costly moisture damage. Services include:
Basement Leak: Even well-built basements can suffer from leaks caused by hydrostatic pressure or drainage issues. Our team identifies the source and installs proven waterproofing systems to keep your basement dry and safe.
Crawl Space Leak Solutions: Damp crawl spaces are a magnet for mold and pests. We seal leaks, remove standing water, and create long-term barriers against moisture, helping protect your foundation and improve air quality.

A visual inspection was performed in the basement. Three air samples were taken one in the first level of the home, one in the basement and one outside for reference. The first level showed slightly elevated and acceptable levels. The basement showed slightly elevated in multiple categories and elevated in one identification. Recommended working with a remediation contractor on ways of reducing the count in the basement of the home to more acceptable levels.
Three air samples were taken to test for mold in the first level, basement and outside. The first level and basement level were overall good with no significant elevated readings, only slightly in a couple of categories which is not uncommon as we bring mold in to our homes every tie we open doors. It was recommended to monitor the water leakage in the basement area and remove any water damaged drywall and other possible contaminated areas such as the carpet.
An air quality test was performed using the Air Advice which checks 6 categories in the air. The chemical level was very high. This can relate to VOC's such as cleaning products, air fresheners etc. or possibly the HVAC system. The HVAC system may not be bringing enough fresh air in to the home through air exchanges which could also be causing the Carbon Dioxide level to be high as well. It was recommended to contact a HVAC company to inspect the system. The EPA recommends increasing ventilation within our homes and an EZ Breathe ventilation system was discussed as a product that conducts whole home air exchanges.
